History of Moscow is the Warning to the Regime of Saakashvili – Luzhkov

Moscow (IA Rian.ru) – Moscow is proud of its achievements and contribution to the success of Russia, said the Mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, at the celebration of the Day of Moscow. “Every day, its history is full of creative work. Throughout the history, Moscow always gave the enemy a crushing rebuff during the military activities” – said Luzhkov. According to him, walls of Moscow serve as a turning point in the war with fascism. “This is a severe and timely reminder for those who are surrounding Russia with missiles and bases. This is a warning to the regime of Saakashvili” – the Mayor said. Luzhkov added that Moscow will help South Ossetia restore the destroyed Tskhinvali. De-facto Presidents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Sergey Bagapsh and Eduard Kokoity, are attending the celebration of the Day of the City.
