The former representative of the European Union to Georgia, Denis Corboy says the fear of new military intervention by Russia to Georgia is not groundless. He asserts that the military trainings Caucasus 2009 conducted at the northern border of Georgia is either an attempt of pressure on Georgia or a preparation for new war. Diplomats warn international society about the danger of a new war between Georgia and Russia.
`It is not a good sign when Russia sends its T-90 tanks and helicopters to South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This is either an attempt of pressure or a preparation for new war. In this situation it`s very important that political forces manage to unite,` Denis Corboy said.
