Christian Democrats of 21 countries slam Moscow`s policy towards Georgia

Berne Congress objects to Russia`s actions and slams the Kremlin`s policy in Georgia. Giorgi Targamdze, the leader of the Georgian Christian Democratic political movement has proposed to enter the mentioned position into the resolution adopted by the conference. Representatives of Christian Democratic political movements of 21 countries had assembled in Berne. They said, all the members of the movement support Georgia and call on the international organizations to back the country as well.
Along with the world financial crisis, the current political situation within the Euro-Atlantic space was discussed at the congress. The participants also talked about the energy security issues. Georgian Christian Democrats have officially joined the World Christian Democratic political movement.
